Chicken Pie/ Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients
For Chicken
- 1 Kg Chicken Breast Pieces & Thigh Pieces
- 1 Piece Cinamon Stick
- 8-10 Pepper Corn
- 2 Cloves
For Vegetables
- 1/4 Cup Green Pease Boiled
- 1 Carrot Cut in small cubes
For Sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1 Onion Finely Chopped
- 3 Green Chilies Finely sliced
- 1/4 Cup Mushrooms
- 1/4 Cup Corn Boiled
- 2.5 Tablespoon Flour
- 3 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Crushed Chilies
- 1 Chicken Cube
- 1 teaspoon Chinese Salt
- 2.5 Cup Chicken Stock
- 1/4 teaspoon Thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon Oregano

Instructions
- In 3 Cups water add chicken, pepper corn, cloves and cinnamon stick

- Cook preferably under pressure for 10 minutes till the chicken is done and stock is reduced to 2.5 cups
- Strain the chicken and separate the stock

- Shred the chicken into small pieces

- Boil all vegetables mentioned in ingredients "for Vegetables" section and strain them

- Heat the butter in a pan and add chopped garlic and onion. Saute a little

- Add flour and cook a little

- Add chicken stock to it

- Cook while stirring till it becomes thick

- Add chicken, all vegetables, green chillies, Mushrooms and all spices mentioned in ingredients "For Sauce"

- Cook a little and adjust salt and spice level according to your taste and let it cool
- Roll out Puff pastry according to dish side and layer it at the base of the dish

- Add the cooked mixture

- Roll out another portion of puff pastry and cover the mixture and seal the edges carefully. Make some holes with a knife

- Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle some herbs of your choice e.g Oregano

- Bake for 15 minutes in preheated oven at 180 degrees till golden






Personal Pot Pie
- Grease Ramekin with butter add prepared mixture and cover it with a layer of puff pastry

- Make holes with knife as shown in picture, brush the top with egg and bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees in preheated oven



For Chicken Muffins
- Roll out puff pastry dough and cut into circles according to your muffin size. Grease the muffin pan with butter generously

- Fit the dough circle in muffin pan

- Add the filling and top it with cheese and desired herbs

- Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees in preheated oven
