Salsa with Homemade Nachos and Crisps
Ingredients
For Salsa Sauce
- 12 Tomatoes Medium Size
- 2 Onions
- 5-6 Garlic Cloves
- 4 Large Greeen Chilies
- 1 Cup Coriander
- 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar or Regular Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
For Nachos
- 1 Cup Corn Meal (Makkai ka aata)
- 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Chinese Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red Chilies Crush
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Ground
- 1 Chicken Cube or 1 tsp chicken powder
- 1-1/4 Cup Warm Water for mixing
For Crisps
- 1 Cup All Purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Water (appx for kneading)
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Chinese Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red Chilies Crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Chicken Cube crushed or 1 teaspoon Chicken powder

Instructions
- Put all tomatoes, onions, garlic cloves, 3 green chilies on a tray and bake it for 20 minutes on 200 degrees

- Now take them out and let them cool.

- Peel off the skins of tomatoes and garlic cloves
- Put all the baked ingredients in the chopper and add 1 cup coriander and 1 green chili, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, salt, black pepper and chop it till you get your desired consistency.



For Nachos
- Combine corn meal with all spices

- Add water and beat well to get smooth gravy like pan cakes. Add more water if it is thick

- Let it sit for 10 - 15 minutes. Beat again. If it thickens add more water
- Heat a pan and grease it
- Take it off from flame and add 2 - 3 Tablespoons of gravy. Spread it on pan carefully using your fingers

- Return it to heat and cook it well and flip the side with the help of spatula. Cook this side well.

- Let it cool and cut in triangular shapes like shown in photo.

- Fry them in oil.



Method for Crisps:
- Mix all spices in flour and knead well with warm water to get a smooth dough

- Let the dough rest for 10 - 15 minutes
- Divide the dough into three balls and dust the surface
- Roll out each ball and cut small circular shapes using a cutter or any lid


- Now roll each circle as thin as you can

- Fry them in oil
