Shahi Tukray (Bread Pudding)
Ingredients
- 6 Slices Bread
- 2-1/2 Cups Milk
- 6 Tablespoon Powder MIlk (or Carnation)
- 1/2 Cup Almonds Coarsely Ground
- 1/4 Cup Pistachios Coarsely Ground
- 1/4 Cup Walnuts
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 8-10 Cardemons (green,small iliachi)
- 1 Pack Cream (200ml)
- Nuts for garnishing
Servings: People
Instructions
- Grind sugar with cardamons to powder
- Toast bread pieces in toaster till they turn golden

- Arrange them in the dish
- Mix all ground nuts together

- Add powder milk to the milk. Heat the milk with 2-1/2 Tablespoons of sugar that you ground

- Add half of the nuts in it

- Pour this mixture on toast

- Let it cool in refrigerator

- Beat cream with 2 Tablespoons of sugar that you ground with cardamons and the remaining nuts

- Pour over soaked toasts

- Garnish with nuts and enjoy this beautiful flavor 🙂

Which cream u have used? (as u mentioned double cream ) as it is not easily available in small cities..
is it necessary to add nuts in milk ? suppose if one dont have nuts then ?

Any tetra pack cream available in market can be used and they are easily available. You can skip Nuts but its almost the key ingredient of the recipe, It won’t taste as good.
