Chicken Wellington
For making Chicken Wellington, you can use the recipe of Puff Dough or Puff Pastry. Both recipes have been linked with step by step pictures. Follow the rest of the recipe down below and enjoy this dish 🙂
Ingredients
For Chicken Marination
- 1/2 kg Chicken Breast Fillets
- 1 Teaspoon Salt Or to Taste
- 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Tandoori Masala
- Or Any other spice of your choice
- 2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
For Spinach Filling
- 3 Tablespoon Spinach Boiled and Blended
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ginger
- 1 Teaspoon garlic
- 1 Green Chilli Crushed
- 1 Teaspoon Chilli Flakes
- 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/2 Chicken Cube
- 100 gms Cheese Shreded
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Green Onion
- 2 Tablespoon Yogurt
- 1 Teaspoon Lemon Jucie

Instructions
Preparing Chicken
- Marinate the Chicken mentioned in the in ingredient section

- Heat 1 Tablespoon oil in pan and add the chicken

- Cook on high heat for 3 minutes each side while covering the pan


Preparing Spinach
- In the same pan, heat butter. Add ginger, garlic and green onion. Fry a little

- Add spinach and fry a little till the water dries

- Add all the spices, yogurt and lemon juice. Cook till its completely dry

- Mix in the cheese at the end and turn off the heat

Assembling
- Roll out the puff dough (recipe linked above). You can also use Puff Pastry (Linked above)

- Spread the prepared spinach filling in the middle. The quantity of the spinach depends on how much you want

- Place the prepared chicken pieces as shown

- Fold the sides of the dough on top of the filling as shown in the picture

- Cut out the excess part of the dough

- Close off the edges

- Prepare the baking tray by glazing it with oil. Place the prepared bread on top

- Give it an egg wash and sprinkle some thyme or oregano on top. Bake for 25 - 30 times at 180 degree C in a preheated oven, or till the bread turn golden

- Serve it hot and enjoy! 🙂

Flatten chicken to an even thickness. In a large skillet, cook chicken in oil and 1 tablespoon butter for 4-5 minutes on each side or until browned.
