Walnut Cake

Instructions
For Crust
- Beat butter and sugar till creamy. Add egg, vanilla essence and beat again

- Sieve flour and add salt to it

- Add it to butter mixture and knead well. Cover it and keep it in refrigerator till the filling is done

For Filling
- In a pan melt butter and sugar together

- Cook till sugar melts and turns brown

- Add pinch salt, nutmeg powder and cinnamon . Add cream, honey and cook till the mixture is smooth

- Add walnuts and mix well. Allow the mixture to cool

Assembling and baking
- Grease a dish preferably of rectangular shape
- Spread 2/3rd of the crust on the base and spread filling in the middle as shown in picture

- Conceal the filling with remaining 1/3rd mixture of crust and shape it into a loaf. All the filling should be concealed well in it


- Preheat the oven at 160 degrees. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the middle rack till it is done
