Instructions
For Crust
Beat butter and sugar till creamy. Add egg, vanilla essence and beat again
Sieve flour and add salt to it
Add it to butter mixture and knead well. Cover it and keep it in refrigerator till the filling is done
For Filling
In a pan melt butter and sugar together
Cook till sugar melts and turns brown
Add pinch salt, nutmeg powder and cinnamon . Add cream, honey and cook till the mixture is smooth
Add walnuts and mix well. Allow the mixture to cool
Assembling and baking
Grease a dish preferably of rectangular shape
Spread 2/3rd of the crust on the base and spread filling in the middle as shown in picture
Conceal the filling with remaining 1/3rd mixture of crust and shape it into a loaf. All the filling should be concealed well in it
Preheat the oven at 160 degrees. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the middle rack till it is done
