Kimchi is rich in vitamins A and C, and due to its fermentation process is also rich in beneficial gut-boosting lactobacilli bacteria.
The flavonoids and probiotics-rich kimchi helps to combat aging, maintain healthy levels of cholesterol and strengthen the immune system.

  1. Wash the reddish, peel it off and then cut in cubes.
  2. Mix salt in the reddish and put it in a clean dry container and leave it for 1 hour
  3. Blend, red chillies, garlic cloves with some water. Add crushed mustard seeds and brown sugar
  4. Add this blend to the container and leave it for another hour
  5. Add enough water (As much as your container can hold)
  6. Cover it and leave the container in a cool dark place preferably
  7. Leave it there for 5 days for fermentation. Try to stir it once every day.
  8. On 5th day you can use the clearer liquid on the top and you can eat the reddish too
  9. You can refill it once more and let it fermentate so that you can enjoy it again 🙂
