Peri Peri Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 kg Meaty Pieces of Chicken with bones
- 10 - 15 Red chillies Whole (Adjust according to your spice level)
- 2 Green Chillies
- 1 Tablespoon Paprika Powder
- 1 Bulb garlic Peeled and Chopped
- 1 Onion Chopped
- 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon White Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Cup olive oil
- 1/4 Cup Vinegar
- 3 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

Instructions
- Soak red chilies for 3 - 4 hours in water
- Put all ingredients in a blender, along with soaked chilies except chicken. And Blend well.

- Make some cuts in the chicken pieces and marinate them in the prepared sauce for 4 - 5 hours. Preferably over night


- Heat a pan and put marinated chicken in it

- Cook over high heat till the liquid is reduced to a thick paste. (Will take about 3 - 4 minutes)
- Grease a baking dish and pour the cooked chicken with all the sauce over it

- Preheat your oven to 220 degree C and bake the chicken for 20 - 25 minutes till it turn brown.



Recipe Notes
Note:
You can use ready made Peri Peri sauce for marinating the chicken. Different spice levels are available for it in the market.
Also, using this homemade peri peri sauce you can adjust the spice level by reducing or increasing the amount of red chilies.
