Grind all spices whole spices mentioned in ingredients “For Tikka” section
Marinate the meat at least for 2 to 3 hours or overnight with ground spices along with other ingredients mentioned in ingredients “For Tikka” section
Heat 1 Tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and add marinated meat to it
Cover it with lid and cook over slow heat till tender and dry. Take it out in a plate or bowl
For Gravy
Fry onions in oil, add tomatoes and blend them with yogurt into a smooth paste
In the pan which was used to cook tikkas, heat one tablespoon of oil, fry ginger garlic paste in it and add the blended gravy
Cook till it is about to dry, and at this stage add all the spices mentioned in ingredients “For Gravy” section
Cook till the mixture gives off oil
Boiling Rice and Assembling
Soak the rice in water atleast for two hours
In a large pan boil water with all the spices mentioned in ingredients “For Boiling Rice” section except for Lemon Juice. When water comes to boil add the soaked rice to it
When rice are about to tender, add lemon juice to it
Strain the rice
In the same pan you boiled the rice, drizzle some olive oil. Make a layer of rice and then pour some gravy over it
Add some cooked tikkas
Sprinkle a little lemon juice
Repeat the above mentioned layers
Garnish with all the ingredients mentioned in ingredients “For Garnishing” section on the top. Add rest of the lemon juice
Burn a little piece of coal over stove
Wrap it with Aluminum foil and leave the top open
Place this on top of garnishing biryani and pour few drops of oil over it and immediately cover the Pan
Leave it over low heat flame for five minutes. Your tikka biryani is ready
