Chicken Karhai
Ingredients
For Tarka
  • 1/4Cup Oil
  • 1-1/2Tablespoon CuminRoasted and crush
Instructions
  1. Finely Crush garlic whole garlic bulb along with peel and ginger piece together.
  2. Add 1/4 cup of water. Strain out the juice
  3. Place karhai with chicken, Finely chopped onion, and nutmeg powder on heat. Add garlic ginger juice to it
  4. Cook covered over medium high heat for approximately 5 seconds till water is about to dry
  5. Add 2 Tablespoons oil to it and cook till water is almost dry
  6. Add finely chopped tomatoes. Cook over high heat till tomatoes are cooked well and the mixture is thick
  7. Add Chili flakes and cook a little. At this time place oil over heat in another pan so that it is ready at the time of tarka
  8. Add salt, black pepper, green coriander, green chilies and Julian cut ginger
  9. Roast cumin, crush it and spread it over cooked chicken
  10. Pour hot oil over it and cover it with lid at once and turn the heat low. Cook for another minute or so
  11. Serve hot with Naan
