Instructions
Soak the chicken in the ingredients mentioned in the section above. Soak it for half an hour
Strain the excess water and put the chicken in a bowl right away so that the chicken does not lose the extra moisture
Marinate the chicken in black pepper, thyme, oregano and soy sauce for another 15 minutes
Add corn flour. Mix well.
Heat oil for deep frying and fry the chicken on medium high heat for 3 – 4 minutes.
In a pan, heat 1.5 teaspoon sesame oil and fry garlic and white parts of onion in it.
Add in the rest of the ingredients except for green parts of onion and corn flour. Bring the mixture to a boil
Add the corn flour mixture and cook until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency
Add in the fried chicken
And the green parts of the spring onions. Cook till sauce coats the chicken
If you want to give it the signature PF Chang taste, add in the Broccoli and Bell pepper with the chicken too
