Grease pan or oven proof dish with butter and spread mixture over the base and press it to form a firm base
Place in preheated oven and bake it for five minutes at 160 degrees . You can skip baking if desire, in that case set it in refrigerator
Making Sauce
Melt Butter and sugar in a pan over low heat. Keep on stirring till all sugar melts and turns brown
Add cream and condensed milk to it. At this stage sugar will form lumps. Keep on cooking while stirring continuously
When the sauce is thick and all lumps of sugar are melted and sauce is quite thick, remove it from the heat and cool till it is slightly warm.
Slice bananas and add lemon juice and some spices to it.
Add lemon juice to cream, keep it in refrigerator for some time. Beat it along sugar and vanilla essence till fluffy , keep it in refrigerator to firm
On the prepared base, spread bananas and pour the warm caramel sauce over it. If sauce become cool and thick you can warm it a little again so that it spread evenly
You can give another layer of bananas if you desire
Allow it to set in refrigerator for about 30 minutes, till it sets properly
