Papparoti Buns
Ingredients
For Dough
For Filling
  • 100gm ButterCut in 8 cubes and refrigerate
For Icing
Instructions
  1. Divide the 100 gm of butter for filling into 8 equal portions and refrigerate them so that they are firm enough
  2. In 1/4 cup warm water, add 1 Tablespoon of yeast and 2 Tablespoon sugar. Let it dissolve for 2 to 3 minutes
  3. Add 1/4 cup warm milk, butter, egg and mix
  4. Add 1 Cup flour and beat well
  5. Add rest of flour, salt and baking powder
  6. Knead it well into a smooth dough. Divide dough into 8 Equal halves
  7. Make balls out of each portion and place it on a greased tray, let them rise in some warm place for 10 minutes
  8. After 10 Minutes, flatten each dough ball place a portion of butter in the middle, seal the edges and form a ball again
  9. Go on placing prepared balls on greased baking tray with a good enough gap between them ( Appx 4 fingers)
  10. Preheat your oven at 200 degrees for two minutes and turn it off. Place the prepared dough balls in it for 20 minutes. This is for providing a warm place for dough balls not baking.
Preparing Icing
  1. Beat butter and brown sugar till creamy
  2. Add coffee, egg, vanilla essence and flour. Beat well thick and creamy
  3. Pour the icing into a icing bag and refrigerate it so that it gets firm
  4. After 20 Minute, dough ball will rise. Take them out from the oven and preheat the oven at 200 degrees for 7 minutes
  5. Cover the top of each dough ball with icing as shown in pictures
  6. Bake them for 15 minutes in preheated oven at 200 degrees in middle Rack till they are brown and done.
  7. Serve warm with a cup of Tea or Coffee
