Marble Cake

  1. Grease the mold and use greased butter paper so that its easier to take the cake out once baked
  2. Mix together sieved flour, baking powder and salt
  3. Separate Egg yolks and egg whites. First, beat egg whites until they are stiff
  4. Mix together butter and sugar
  5. Beat them till they are creamy
  6. Add egg yolks and vanilla essence and beat them
  7. Add milk and flour mixture gradually (in 3 portions) and beat them
  8. Fold in the beaten egg whites into the mixture
  9. Take out 1/3rd of the mixture and add in coco powder and coffee. Mix well
  10. Pour half of the white mixture into the prepared pan. Then pour in the chocolate mixture
  11. Now pour in the rest of the white mixture
  12. With the help of a spatula, slightly make a swirl in the cake mixture once. Tap the pan so that all the air bubbles are released
  13. Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 40 – 45 minutes. Adjust heat according to your oven.
  14. Take out the cake from the pan
  15. Serve the pieces to show off the marble texture 🙂
