Grind the ingredients of Mix Spice as mentioned above
Mix all the ingredients mentioned for Strawberry base in a cooking pan
Cook over low heat first. When it gives off water raise the heat to medium and cook till the mixture is quite thick like a jam. Let it cool
Mix cream and vinegar and set aside
Mix flour, salt and baking powder
Beat together butter and sugar and eggs and beat well
Add flour mixture, nuts, spice mix and sour cream and beat well
You can make the pie in a big pan and also you can make personal servings. Proportion of jam and cake mixture is up to you.
Coat the base of ramekin or your pan with butter generously
Pour in the prepared jam layer and then top it with the cake mixture
Do the same with ramekin
Bake at 180 degree C in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Please note that the baking time depends on the thickness of the cake batter you have used. Bake till the test stick comes out clean and dry.
