Prepare pan by lining it with greased butter paper
Sieve flour and add salt and baking powder to it
Separate eggs and beat egg white till stiff
Beat together butter and sugar till creamy
Add yolks, beat and add vanilla essence
Add Flour mixture and beat
At the end fold in egg whites
Add red food color so that mixture becomes pinkish
Pour the mixture in prepared pan, spread evenly and tap the pan to release air.
Bake in preheated oven over 180 degrees for 25 – 30 minutes or till the testing pick comes out clean
For Chocolate Cake
Prepare pan by greased lining of butter paper. Sieve together flour and salt. Separate eggs whites and yolks.
Beat egg whites till stiff. Beat together butter and sugar till creamy. Add egg yolks and beat more.
Add flour and coco powder mixture and beat.
Add coffee, vanilla essence and at the end fold in egg whites
Pour in the prepared pan and bake it similarly as the pink part
Let both cakes cool. Mean while for dressing beat cream with sugar, lemon juice and vanilla essence
Cut each cake into three rings as shown in pictures
Apply Cream to inner side of all rings
Take the largest ring of Chocolate cake, and insert the second largest ring of pink cake into it
Now add the smallest circle of chocolate cake to complete one cake layer
Now similarly take largest ring of pink cake and follow the same steps to form other layer and place it over the first layer. Apply cream between both layers
