We all make channa chaat once in a while but this one is special. A little effort will bring out such great flavors 🙂

Main Ingredients
  1. Boil soaked chick peas till they get very soft so that they can absorb the chuttney and flavor of the spices
  2. Soak the sliced onions in lemon juice for 10 to 15 minutes
  3. Prepare the rest of the ingredients
  4. Make imli sauce by boiling tamarind with water and making a paste with it
  5. Make pappri by frying roll patti in oil
  6. Make yogurt topping as instructed above. If your yogurt is thin, hang it in a cloth to strain extra water
  7. Start assembling your chaat by laying potatoes on top of the chick peas
  8. Add onions with lemon juice and the mint, coriander leaves
  9. Then layer the tomatoes and green chillies
  10. Sprinkle all spices
  11. Add in the imli sauce. Make sure you pour it all over the dish
  12. Mix all the ingredients carefully. We want everything to stay intact
  13. Top with yogurt
  14. Add a layer of Pappri
  15. Then add the chips
  16. Add Daal Seiv
  17. Top with Imli Chuttney
  18. Your Chaat is ready!
